By tracking 1,941 central sector projects valued at Rs. 41.50 lakh crore as of March 2026, the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has improved infrastructure monitoring via the PAIMANA platform. With expenditures of Rs. 19.93 lakh crore, or 48.02% of the total cost, these projects, which span 17 ministries, demonstrate consistent progress. Approximately 40% of projects are over 80% physically completed, while 13% are over 80% financially advanced. With 1,428 projects, the transportation and logistics sector leads, followed by the energy, communication, and water sectors. 25 projects were finished in March 2026, accelerating the expansion of infrastructure. Transparency, increased coordination, timely delivery, efficient execution, better monitoring, and faster national economic development are all ensured by the site.
