Summary:
In order to help India reach Rs. 9.47 lakh crore (US$100 billion) in textile and apparel exports by 2030, the Ministry of Textiles has started a statewide effort. In order to establish strategies centred on technological textiles, man-made fibres, infrastructure, logistics, technology, and market access, the two-day summit brings together states, industry leaders, and exporters. State and district export action plans have been created after talks with approximately 200 districts, 36 states, and Union Territories. The program promotes district-led export expansion and cooperative federalism. Giriraj Singh, the minister of textiles, highlighted branding, value addition, diversification, sustainability, and skill. The National Textile Export Roadmap 2030 will direct initiatives to improve global competitiveness and fortify the textile value chain.
