The Government has launched the Self-Help Entrepreneur-Livelihoods and Enterprise Application for Prosperity and Sustainability (SHE-LEAPS), a digital platform to strengthen women-led rural enterprises and support the Lakhpati Didi initiative. Developed by the Digital India Corporation under the LokOS platform, it enables enterprise creation, livelihood management and performance tracking for women in Self-Help Groups (SHGs). Implemented across 34 States and Union Territories, the platform improves governance, financial inclusion and data-driven decision-making. The Government has increased the Lakhpati Didi target from three crore to six crore women and plans to invest Rs. 10 lakh crore over five years. SHE-LEAPS aims to boost income generation, sustainable entrepreneurship and inclusive rural development across India.
